The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures that all HVAC operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of HVAC technicians and support staff.
Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive maintenance, installations, and repair work.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC systems.
Prepare work reports, material requisitions, and project updates for management.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Train, mentor, and assess the performance of HVAC team members.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in HVAC systems, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and controls.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of safety standards and local regulations.
Proficiency in using HVAC tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
Work Environment:
Site-based with regular visits to various project locations.
May require working during off-hours for urgent repairs or project deadlines.
