The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing HVAC works for interior fit-out projects, ensuring installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role involves managing site teams, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Execution

Supervise day-to-day HVAC installation activities for interior fit-out projects Ensure work is carried out as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications Monitor ducting, chilled water piping, VRF/VRV systems, FCUs, AHUs, exhaust systems, and accessories
Coordination

Coordinate HVAC works with other trades (interior, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting) to avoid clashes Liaise with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers Attend site meetings and provide progress updates
Quality & Safety

Ensure HVAC installations meet quality standards and client requirements Implement and enforce safety procedures on site Conduct inspections and rectify defects or non-conformities
Manpower & Materials

Allocate tasks to technicians, foremen, and subcontractors Monitor manpower productivity and work progress Coordinate material delivery, storage, and usage at site
Testing & Commissioning

Support testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems Ensure completion of snag lists and handover requirements Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals
Reporting

Prepare daily and weekly progress reports Report site issues, delays, or risks to management Maintain site records and documentation
Qualifications & Experience

Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or relevant field Minimum

5-8 years

experience in HVAC works, preferably in

interior fit-out projects

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and installation practices Experience working on commercial, retail, office, or hospitality fit-out projects
