Job Description

We are seeking an

experienced and technically proficient HVAC Engineer

with a strong background in

Mechanical systems

. The successful candidate will oversee

MEP design review, coordination, and site implementation

for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, across our ongoing and upcoming projects.

This role requires solid technical expertise, interdisciplinary coordination, and the ability to ensure full compliance with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Technical Review

Review and validate design submissions from consultants for all MEP systems, including

HVAC, water supply, drainage, firefighting, LPG

. Ensure full compliance with

UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, DEWA, DM, Trakhees, DCD

, and other applicable regulations. Manage all stages of design --

concept, schematic, detailed design, and IFC

-- ensuring alignment with project objectives, budget, and operational strategy. Evaluate MEP calculations, including

heat load, ESP, ventilation, pump head, fault level

. Review

equipment sizing and selection

for key MEP components (VRF, DX unit, AHUs, FAHU, chillers, pumps, etc.). Contribute to

value engineering

and

sustainable design

initiatives. Coordinate and support

authority submissions

and approvals, ensuring timely responses to comments.

Coordination & Site Execution

Coordinate with

architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines

to avoid clashes and ensure integrated design solutions. Review and comment on

shop drawings, material submittals, method statements

, and

technical datasheets

for all MEP systems. Supervise

installation, testing, and commissioning

of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and electrical systems. Manage

subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors

to ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standards. Conduct

regular site inspections

, prepare snag lists, and follow up on rectifications. Participate in

project, coordination, and site meetings

, providing MEP-related technical input. Support

post-handover operations

, including O&M manual review, facility management coordination, and asset handover documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Minimum

7-10 years of HVAC experience

in design review and site execution. Strong working knowledge of

MEP design software

(AutoCAD, HAP, Revit, relevant design/calculation softwareetc.). In-depth understanding of

UAE codes and authority requirements

(DM, DDA, DEWA, DCD, Trakhees , etc.). Proven experience in

HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting

. Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.

UAE experience and driving license

preferred.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
