HVAC Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to design, install, and maintain a variety of air-conditioning systems, with a strong emphasis on VRF/VRV technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ducted A/C units, split systems, and associated mechanical components. You will lead projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot VRF/VRV systems, ducted A/Cs, and split units. Perform routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on all HVAC equipment. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams. Coordinate with project managers, electrical and mechanical teams, and subcontractors. Ensure installation practices meet manufacturer guidelines and local codes. Conduct system performance tests and prepare detailed reports. Source spare parts, manage inventory, and track service requests. Mentor junior technicians and provide on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with VRF/VRV systems in commercial or high-end residential projects. Proven expertise with ducted A/C units, split-type systems, and related accessories (pumps, cooling towers, controls). Strong troubleshooting skills using diagnostic tools and methodologies. Ability to read, interpret, and work from mechanical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
