Job Summary:

A Fire and safety company in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to design, install, commission, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects across the UAE. The candidate must be familiar with local regulations, international standards, and UAE climate-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design HVAC systems, including load calculations, ductwork sizing, and equipment selection according to project specifications. Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals. Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation activities on-site. Perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems. Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and implement solutions. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (MEP) to ensure smooth project integration. Prepare project documentation: shop drawings, method statements, BOQs, and reports. Manage project schedules, resources, and ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC design and site execution, preferably in the UAE or Gulf region. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (chillers, VRF/VRV, FCUs, AHUs, split systems). Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP (Hourly Analysis Program), and other HVAC design software. Familiarity with LEED, Estidama, and other sustainability standards (preferred). Strong understanding of UAE building and safety codes. Excellent project management and communication skills. Valid UAE driving license (preferred for site roles).
