Position: Human Resources Manager

A trendy growing restaurant group with two restaurants in Kuwait, and expanding outside the region. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team and help them continue their growth and success.
Responsibilities:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the organization, managing all HR-related activities and ensuring a positive and productive work environment. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices in line with labor laws and regulations
Creating and maintaining restaurant-specific job descriptions and internal contracts for staff, clearly outlining each employees responsibilities
Developing and implementing a performance-based incentive plan, suitable for a restaurant group, that rewards and penalizes staff based on performance and KPIs
Creating different compensation and benefits packages for local hires and expats, taking into account allowances for accommodation, transportation, and other benefits that do not impact indemnity and leave balances
Overseeing the recruitment process, including advertising, interviewing, and hiring of new staff
Managing employee onboarding, orientation, and training
Developing and implementing employee performance evaluations and continuous improvement plans
Addressing employee grievances and resolving conflicts within the workplace
Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations, including work permits, visas, and other necessary documentation for expat staff
Managing payroll, employee records, and other HR-related administrative tasks
Collaborating with restaurant management to ensure seamless coordination between HR and daily operations
Participating in and contributing to the strategic planning and growth of the restaurant group
Requirements
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry
Knowledge of Kuwaiti labor laws and regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in HR Software
Experience in managing the HR needs of a diverse and multicultural workforce is a plus
Benefits
Salary range: 800 KD to 1300 KD per month
Benefits per Kuwaiti Law
