Your Day to Day

As Human Resources Intern, you will assist HR Department in managing the day to day administrative operations in Human Resources office. You will learn/assist to carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Human Resource Information, systems, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.

Some of your main role responsibilities are:
  • Prepares administrative works that are required for any colleague welfare activities in the company.
  • Maintain HR related records in personnel files and Civil Soft in a timely manner that meets management information needs at any point of time.
  • Approve leave requests after considering peaks and troughs in the business.
  • Regularly communicate with colleagues to maintain positive relationships.
  • Coordinates colleagues\xe2\x80\x99 issues effectively and efficiently that will not obstruct colleagues to be successful in assisting our guests.
  • Counsel colleagues and potential colleagues on plan provisions as per regulated so that individuals can make informed decisions on benefits.
  • Comply and supports IHG Human Rights Policy, IHG Foundation, IHG Green Engage, IHG Code of Ethics and Business Conduct when administrating all HR tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideally, you\'ll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we\'re looking for:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or similar qualification in Human Resources/Organizational Development or related field is required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality to the extent possible in all Human Resources-related matters.
  • Fluency in English, Other languages preferred.
  • Basic computer skills
