Human Capital Executive
Role Purpose:

The position of Human Capital Executive will support the Corporate Business Unit team in their daily operations relating, but not confined to the Corporate HC strategies, policies, processes and procedures and ensuring that the highest level of HC support is provided in the most transparent, cost effective and timely manner in line with overall MAFP\xe2\x80\x99s objectives. Additionally, this role will provide timely support to the Corporate Business Unit pertaining to the maintenance and updating of employee records, Human Capital documentations and internal databases.

Role Details \xe2\x80\x93 Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Work in collaboration and be the main point of contact between the MAF Properties\xe2\x80\x99 Corporate HC team and Majid Al Futtaim\xe2\x80\x99s Global Solution team to ensure great moments for all Corporate employees in the onboarding to offboarding cycle. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Proactively communicate with Government Relation for the processing of the new employee and dependents residence visa, labour card for the temporary employees and employees on family sponsorship, pension for UAE National and GOSI for GCC national.
    • Responsible in arranging IT assets and facility-related requirements for the new employee like workstation, mobile phone and sim card, access card, parking allocation etc.
    • Arrange relocation requirements for the new employee who are joining MAFP from abroad. This includes flight ticket, airport transportation, accommodation booking and Marhaba services (if applicable). This includes arrangement of PR/LPOs required.
    • Ensure that all joining declaration papers for the new hires are filled in, signed and available on new employee file.
    • Ensure that every new joiner is well enrolled in the EC System maximum on the payroll cut-off.
    • Coordinate with Government Relation for the cancellation requirements of labour cards, visas, pension and GOSI.
    • Arrange repatriation tickets for employees and dependents (if applicable) who are leaving the country after visa cancellation. This includes arrangement of PR/LPOs required.
    • Responsible in managing the full termination of leaver\xe2\x80\x99s record in the EC System.
    • Coordinate with payroll team for the availability of the Final Settlement Statement and share the details to the leaver.
    • Ensure that supporting documents related to the offboarding of the leavers are on their files including the written approval for any exemptions.
  • Support the overall Corporate HC team in the overall strategy for MAFP Corporate by:
    • Partner closely with HC Corporate Director in the annual workforce planning and budgeting exercise for Corporate BU for the assigned departments and liaise with respective Functional Heads/Managers to facilitate during the process of ascertaining the required no of headcount based on the business plan.
    • Provide inputs in order to estimate manpower budget/costing for the assigned departments including new positions for hiring in conjunction with the HCBP, HC Coordinator and Corporate P&OD \xe2\x80\x93 TR function.
    • Assist the Corporate HC team in implementing the organization structure for the assigned departments after approval is received.
    • Ensure that employees in the assigned departments strictly comply with the MAFP policies, UAE\xe2\x80\x99s Labour Law and other legal legislation requirements at all times during employment with MAFP.
    • Assist the Corporate BU HCBP / Head of HC in the localization initiatives / programs for the assigned departments to meet / exceed in line with the overall MAFP\xe2\x80\x99s objectives.
    • Implement and monitor the execution of the annual performance appraisal system for the assigned departments and ensure that the Performance Management timelines and process of evaluation is adhered at all levels and that all eligible staff are evaluated in a most transparent manner by their immediate Line Managers / Supervisors in the review period.
    • Participate in the compilation of annual performance evaluation results including calibrations for the assigned departments in order to establish performance ratings and recommendations for increment, promotion and training needs by the respective Corporate BU Functional Heads / Managers.
    • Ensure that all staff related services are provided on a timely basis and with the highest of standards.
    • Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values and ensure that all employees in the assigned departments adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.


Functional/Technical Competencies:

Minimum technical experience
  • 3-5 Years experienced in a business administration or HR field or equivalent
  • High degree of analytics skills, great experience with Microsoft Excel in creating functions and Pivot tables
  • Excellent presentation skills that use creativity and accurate information to tell stories
  • Fluency writing, reading and speaking in English is a must, Arabic is a bonus

Minimum Qualifications/education
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration/HR or its equivalent
