To ensure implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management System of projects and ensure that compliance with legal and company standards, reduce risks, and promote a safe working environment for all employees and compliance with local statutory & client requirements


Field based person responsible to supervise safety officers under his WORK area. Maximum of 4 Safety officers per Safety Supervisor Responsibility typically shall include but not limited to WORK area coordination WORK Surveillance HSES Inspections PTW Audits Support Incident Investigations Support Emergency drills and exercises Participate in HSES Audits Administers HSES KPI's Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations, company and client requirements. Conducts regular safety inspections / audits of project site and equipment during construction and commissioning, and participates in audits of safety program implementation. Identify workplace hazards, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies Prepare and update risk assessments for ongoing projects and daily operations Ensure safety equipment and facilities are maintained in optimum working condition by developing and implementing inspections and preventative maintenance programs and maintaining efficient record keeping system of all equipment under his responsibility and recommend the replacement of faulty equipment. Participate in the Client's HSES procedures governing the Permit to Work system and provide independent monitoring by reviewing selected permits issued by the Operations personnel or Client. * Plan, co-ordinate and supervise the day-to-day activities of the HSES Officers
