Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated HSEQ Officer to support the implementation and management of our Integrated Management System and certifications. The successful candidate will work across multiple projects and departments to ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems, and promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Support occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality management initiatives under the direction of the Head of HSEQ. Conduct HSEQ inspections and site surveys; recommend remedial actions to improve standards. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues; prepare alert reports and share lessons learned. Report non-conformances and assist with the issuance and closure of NC reports. Deliver HSEQ inductions and training sessions for new staff and contractors. Develop and conduct Toolbox Talks and other awareness programs. Monitor compliance requirements and report findings. Perform internal audits, communicate findings, and monitor closure of audit actions. Conduct Hazard Identification Risk Assessments (HIRA) for office and site tasks. Manage chemical safety and ensure records are updated for assigned sites. Conduct emergency preparedness training and drills. Respond to emergencies on site as required. Consolidate and report on inspections, audits, investigations, PTW, trainings, and contractor trackers. Support continual improvement to enhance compliance with statutory, local, and international regulatory requirements. Maintain high-quality service standards for clients and partners.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (required) NEBOSH certification and ISO Internal Auditor qualification (preferred) Minimum 3 years of experience in Health, Safety, Environment & Quality, preferably in facilities management At least 3 years as an HSEQ Officer (preferred)

Skills:

Strong knowledge of HSEQ management systems and regulatory requirements Experience in inspections, audits, investigations, and risk assessments Excellent communication, training, and reporting skills Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and implement corrective actions Strong organizational and analytical skills
