Job Summary:

We are seeking an

HSEO / Safety Officer

with experience in the

construction industry

to ensure compliance with safety regulations, minimize workplace hazards, and promote a culture of safety on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, risk assessment, and incident prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to minimize risks. Develop and enforce safety procedures, guidelines, and policies. Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for workers and staff. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing reports and recommendations for preventive measures. Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on-site. Maintain records of safety audits, inspections, and compliance reports. Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. At least

3 years

of experience as an

HSEO / Safety Officer in the construction industry

. Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, DOLE-COSH). In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to handle safety-related emergencies effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report preparation.
