Formulate, develop and monitor the implementation of health and safety policies, systems, reports, procedures and standards for existing activities and new processes within all Farah entities in order to ensure effective risk management, including, but not limited to:
Food Safety and HACCP
Document control
Statistical reporting
Assist when required with Contractor induction
Inspections and Audits- Food Safety
Food Safety & HSE Training
Be the main contact with the company medical supplier for all operational matters.
Provide Essential Food safety training to all food handlers in Farah.
Manage the clinic licensing process for all Facilities
Cover sickness and holidays for park based HSE Managers
Manage a register of relevant legislations that apply to the business.
Ensure health, safety and food hygiene related complaints are concluded to a practicable standard, results are recorded and actions to prevent a reoccurrence are put in place.
Oversee food safety across the organization to ensure that the requisite legislative and best practice standards are established and maintained and act as HACCP Lead for the business. Liaise with external auditors in relation to food safety
Drive the standardisation of safety systems, processes, and procedures across the business through active work with all Farah Leisure businesses
Investigate all Food safety related civil claims (i.e. personal injury claims) as required to support the Farah Legal Department
Manage and report on Department key performance indicators as required by business.
Liaise with Heads of Departments and the Training Department to identify safety training needs and ensure that safety training programmes undertaken reflect the needs of the business and the delegates involved
Proactively identify and drive safety related initiatives that will deliver excellent customer service across the business
Promote a positive health and safety culture by securing the effective communication and implementation of the group health and safety policy
Provide the management team with advice and regular status reports on safety issues and performance reviews
Manage HSE based risk register.
Work closely with the departments on Pandemic management strategies which includes but not limited to :
PCR management for colleagues and guests
Vaccination Campaigns
Manage and train the HSE coordinators.
Act as HSE representative for the OSHAD nominated Food outlets and ensure compliance.
Manage the onboarding of new colleagues to the department.
Manage department expenses and ensure it is within the allocated budget
Manage, implement, and monitor All HSE related systems with regards to reducing organizational Risk.
Devise a system of monitoring and communicating advice to Heads of Departments on future changes to health & safety management
The ideal candidate should have:
Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2s degree in related field and/or NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
7+ years of HSE experience
Master\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2s Degree in related field
Environmental Management qualification
Fire Management qualification
Level 4 Food Safety qualification
Development of HSE policies and procedures and the implementation of:
\xc3\x82 Delivery of HSE training courses \xc3\x82 Data analysis for measurement of HSE performance \xc3\x82 HSE Auditing and Incident investigation
