Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control all HSE matters related to project team members and contractors in ensuring that the project is in compliance with the project requirement.
  • Ensure that Project is executed in compliance with HSE Management Plan & Procedure, Environmental Procedure, Potential Risk Mitigation Plan, HSE Audit Plan/Procedure, and any other HSE related documents
  • Participate in HSE Risk Assessment and hold a relevant meeting, workshop internally and with related 3rd parties
  • Monitor and update the HSE action tracking register and ensure all mitigation plans are strictly adhered to throughout the project execution
  • Enforce and audit activities to ensure it meets project HSE guidelines. Prepare and manage required documents for related internal/external audit and process them.
  • Carries out site safety inspections and takes appropriate action to ensure compliance.
  • Execution of safety walks on own responsibility according to project specifications and participate in walk-throughs with project management, the site management, and contractors.
  • Assists in investigating all incidents that occur in the workplace.
  • Track and provide regular HSE performance reporting to the project team.
  • Support HSE personnel\xe2\x80\x99s in the development of worksite HSE campaigns and good practices.
  • Participate in Project HSE committee meetings to deliver HSE performance and give direction to the project team on HSE matters.

Qualification
  • Degree / Diploma in the related field
  • Recognized safety certificate, i.e. NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of local and international standards in power plant safety
  • Related professional experience in a similar capacity.
  • Work experience and familiarity in a petro-chemical plant environment.
