Job Summary
Al Marwan Developments is looking for a reliable and well-organized HSE Supervisor to lead and implements Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across construction sites, heavy equipment plant hire, workshops, concrete and asphalt plants, and rental operations. The role ensures compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and company policies, while maintaining high hygiene standards, efficient operations, and strong safety performance across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of the HSE Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
Lead and manage HSE operations across all sites in compliance with UAE laws, client standards, and company policies.
Supervise, mentor, and coordinate 12-15 Safety Officers to ensure consistent safety practices and daily site compliance.
Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Oversee heavy equipment, lifting operations, mobile plants, PTW systems, and all third-party inspections/certifications.
Review and approve Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Monitor, analyze, and report HSE KPIs, incidents, near misses, training records, and non-conformances.
Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to enhance workforce safety knowledge.
Act as the primary HSE contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure effective implementation of emergency response plans, drills, and corrective/preventive actions.
Promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement across all operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
B.Tech in Mechanical or Safety Engineering; NEBOSH IGC mandatory, IOSH/OSHA certifications preferred.
6-8 years of UAE HSE experience in construction, heavy equipment, plant, or industrial operations.
Hands-on experience with heavy machinery, lifting equipment, mobile plants, high-risk activities, and third-party inspections.
Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards.
Proficient in MS Office and HSE reporting tools.Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multi-site HSE teams.
Excellent risk assessment, problem-solving, and incident investigation capabilities.
Effective communication, stakeholder management, and client interaction skills.
