Job Description

Responsibilities:

Suspend activities that pose threats to workers' health and safety. Recommend protective measures against hazardous work methods, processes, or materials. Investigate workplace accidents to identify causes and prevent recurrence. Assess ventilation, exhaust systems, lighting, and other environmental factors affecting health and performance. Develop and maintain hygiene programs. Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices for compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with the Project Engineer to implement control/remedial measures for hazardous conditions or equipment. Conduct safety training and education programs; demonstrate proper use of safety equipment. Provide health and safety orientations for new employees; prepare relevant materials. Collect samples of dust, gases, vapors, and other toxic substances for analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the GCC/MENA region. Bachelor's Degree OR Technical Diploma (3-year course) in a relevant engineering field. NEBOSH IGC certification. Certification in one of the following: IOSH Managing Safety, OSHA 30 Hours, or a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety from an accredited institution. Valid and current First Aid Certification.

Pay: QAR6,500.00 per month
