Job Description

The Site HSE Manager, reporting directly to the Site Manager and functionally to the HSE Project Manager, has the following responsibilities: Implementation and maintenance of the concepts for occupational safety, health, and environmental protection. Liaising with Subcontractors to resolve HSE issues. Providing recommendations for improving the HSE performances. Monitoring, evaluating and analysing effectiveness of the HSE Plans/System and propose improvement actions. Cooperation, joint site visits / checks and investigations of accidents and incidents. Coordination and supervision of precautionary and preventive measures. Trainings. Advice related to hazard spots. Analyses of accidents and development of corrective actions. Implementation of a work protection organisation. Cooperation with the HSE Responsible of the other contractors and subcontractors. Participation in construction meetings with the Client and the other contractors. Performance of Site audits. Organising HSE meetings on site Assuring the HSE information/communication down/up from site to HSE dept. at HQ level thorough the HSE Project Manager. Knowledge of local HSE regulations
