The HSE Officer is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. This includes developing and implementing safety and environmental programs, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing training and support to employees. The HSE Officer will work to minimize workplace accidents, injuries, and environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and standards.
Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments. Develop strategies to minimize and mitigate risks.
Investigate accidents, near-misses and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
Conduct safety and environmental training programs for employees. Ensure all personnel are aware of safety procedures.
Develop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure all personnel are trained in response procedures.
Perform routine safety audits and inspections to identify and rectify compliance issues.
Maintain accurate records of safety and environmental incidents, inspections, and training.
Continuously monitor and assess safety performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Min. 1-2 years' experience in HSE role
Any bachelor's degree with NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
Strong understanding of UAE HSE regulations.
Knowledge of risk assessment and incident investigation methods.
Knowledge of level 1 first aider, Tool box talks, SOP trainings, HSE induction
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ready to work in the factory and on site
