Pioneer Cement Industries

is looking for an experienced

HSE Officer

to ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental standards and maintain safe operations at our site.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification for all work activities. Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with UAE regulations. Prepare and conduct emergency response drills and ensure readiness. Perform site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legal and company HSE standards. Deliver HSE training and awareness sessions to staff and contractors. Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses; recommend corrective actions. Support management in maintaining a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience as an HSE Officer in an industrial or construction environment in the UAE. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, labour law, and best practices. Technical understanding of high-risk work activities such as lifting operations, confined space entry, and work at height.

Required Certifications:

NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (mandatory) OSHA or equivalent internationally recognised HSE certification (preferred) IOSH Managing Safely (preferred) Basic First Aid and Fire Safety Certification Permit to Work Systems & Hazardous Work Permit Training Risk Assessment & Accident Investigation Training
