Position: HSE Officer
Location: JBR
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in UAE
Certifications Required: NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, ISO 45001, or equivalent Employment Type: Full Time
Languages: English (Arabic is a plus)
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and company policies
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits
Deliver safety training and toolbox talks
Investigate incidents and prepare reports
Liaise with government authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense)
Proficiency in preparing and managing HSE documentation (e.g., safety plans, registers, permits to work).
Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and coordinate emergency response procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for identifying hazards and developing corrective actions.
Competency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentation.
Requirements:
Proven HSE experience in UAE (construction, oil & gas, etc.)
Valid certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.)
Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and safety standards
Excellent communication and reporting skills
