Job Title: Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer - (with NEBOSH certification)

We are seeking a motivated individual with a NEBOSH certification to join our team as an HSE Officer. As an HSE Officer with a NEBOSH certification, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and visitors across our operations in the UAE. Under the mentorship of senior HSE personnel, you will contribute to the implementation of robust health, safety, and environmental practices that align with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and NEBOSH standards.

2. Support the development and implementation of HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and site personnel, with a focus on promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability.

3. Assist in the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.

4. Participate in emergency response drills and procedures, ensuring readiness to effectively respond to health, safety, and environmental incidents.

5. Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation, including incident reports, inspection findings, training records, and relevant permits and licenses.

6. Provide guidance and support to employees on HSE-related matters, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe work practices.

7. Stay abreast of changes in UAE HSE legislation, regulations, and industry best practices, and assist in updating HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines accordingly.

8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning, design, and execution, promoting a holistic approach to risk management.

9. Conduct HSE audits and performance reviews to monitor compliance with established standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

10. Assist in the promotion of environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management, energy conservation, and pollution prevention efforts.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent NEBOSH qualification is required.

- Relevant internships or work experience in HSE preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.

- Strong understanding of UAE HSE regulations and NEBOSH standards.

- Fluency in English is required.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
