Job Description

Basic Function and Scope

. Manage the HSSE matters related to the daily operation of the materials warehouse and related facilities.

. Ensure Zero LTI and safety is implemented across the warehouse

Tasks and Duties

. Ensuring that work carried out in the chemical warehouse comply with regulations

stipulated in the Companys HSSE regulations and Local statutory regulations

. Be familiar with statutory requirements and HSSE regulations for import of chemicals and the safe disposal of toxic wastes;

. Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS all chemicals bought and used in the company;

. Setting up a system that ensures for the safe storage and easy retrieval of materials and chemicals and its associated records in accordance with the Companys HSSE MS;

. With Worksite operating team, establish safe warehouse operating procedures and ensure that materials and equipment received are properly operated in a safe manner;

. Ensure good housekeeping, security and safety practices are observed always;

. Ensure forklift, lorry & pick up operation adhere to HSSE standards;

. Ensure chemicals and catalyst are handled and stored safely taking into consideration their storage compatibility.

. Act as a focal point for all matters related to HSSE at the warehouse;

. Coordinate for delivery of materials, chemical and catalyst to plant areas.

. Ensure that current statutory legislation on import/export, transportation/shipment of dangerous goods, safety,storage, customs and excise procedures and environmental requirements are adhered to always.

. Manage total performance of warehouse operation in a safe manner.

. Any other work instructed by Worksite operating team

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

. Diploma in Business Administration/Logistics (preferably majoring in warehouse

operations) or any related field and at least 5 years of related experience in HSSE related work for warehousing. Very good understanding of the English Language.
