HSE Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments across warehouse, transport, and operational areas. Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and industry standards. Report, investigate, and document incidents, accidents, and near-misses. Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to staff. Maintain updated records of safety documentation, permits, and reports. Coordinate emergency response drills and evaluate their effectiveness. Collaborate with management to improve workplace safety practices. Recommend corrective and preventive actions to minimize hazards. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols by all personnel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field. NEBOSH/IOSH certification is mandatory. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an HSE Officer, preferably in logistics or warehousing. Strong understanding of UAE safety regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills. Ability to lead and influence safe work practices among employees.
