We, Fordrough Building Contracting LLC are seeking a dedicated and experienced
HSE Officer
to oversee health, safety, and environmental practices at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with UAE regulations, company policies, and international safety standards while promoting a culture of safety among all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and implement the company's HSE policies, procedures, and regulations on site.
Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, potential hazards and take corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, standards, and client requirements.
Proven ability to conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions for site staff and subcontractors.
Prepare and maintain HSE reports, checklists, and records as required.
Assist in the investigation and reporting of accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular safety drills.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE, fire safety systems, and emergency response procedures
Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills.
Support site activities by monitoring safe installation and operation practices.
Liaise with the project team, subcontractors, and authorities regarding safety matters.
Participate in risk assessments and method statement reviews.
Promote a strong safety culture at all levels of the workforce.
Ensure compliance with UAE legal and regulatory HSE requirements (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, MOHRE, etc.).
Promote continuous improvement in HSE performance and awareness throughout the company.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent).
Minimum (3-5) years of HSE experience in construction projects.
Strong understanding of local safety regulations and standards.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced construction environments.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Valid UAE Driving license
