Job Description

The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at fit-out project sites. The role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international best practices to promote a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and enforce the company's HSE policies, procedures, and standards across all fit-out project sites. Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Develop and deliver HSE induction and training programs for new employees, subcontractors, and site personnel. Monitor and ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations. Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, including risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), incident reports, and inspection checklists. Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending preventive measures. Conduct toolbox talks and regular safety meetings with site teams. Coordinate emergency drills and ensure availability of first aid and firefighting equipment. Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and clients on HSE matters to ensure continuous improvement. Support internal and external audits related to HSE compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. NEBOSH IGC / OSHA certification or equivalent mandatory. Minimum 4-5 years of proven HSE experience within the fit-out/interior contracting or construction industry. Strong knowledge of UAE/Qatar/Oman (or relevant region's) HSE regulations and standards. Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

xperience in managing subcontractor safety compliance.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proactive safety mindset.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
