About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and qualified

HSE Officer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across all company operations, including oversight of employee accommodation safety and welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and company standards. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Promote a culture of safety and awareness among employees through training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures. Monitor compliance with environmental and occupational health standards. Ensure fire safety, first aid, and emergency preparedness measures are in place and maintained. Oversee employee accommodation safety and welfare, ensuring housing facilities meet health, safety, and hygiene standards. Coordinate with HR and management on employee welfare initiatives and accommodation inspections. Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports for management and relevant authorities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent HSE certification is

mandatory

. Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in an HSE role, preferably in retail fit manufacturing, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, safety regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
