Job Description

PFC Group is Hiring for a competent and vigilant HSE Officer with 2-4 years of GCC relevant experience in the Civil construction industry. The role involves implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to ensure a safe working environment on-site. The candidate will be responsible for risk assessments, compliance checks, incident investigations, and promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Enforce site-specific HSE policies and procedures in accordance with company and legal requirements. Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe practices or conditions. Perform risk assessments and recommend preventive and corrective measures. Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training for site workers and subcontractors. Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards (PPE usage, scaffolding safety, lifting operations, etc.). Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis. Maintain accurate documentation of safety records, inspections, and permits. Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to address HSE concerns promptly. Ensure emergency preparedness on-site (fire drills, first aid, evacuation procedures).

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 2-4 years of HSE experience in construction projects (residential, commercial, infrastructure, etc.). NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent certification mandatory. Strong understanding of construction-related hazards and safety measures. Familiar with local labor and HSE regulations. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
