HSE Officer

to join our team in

. This role is ideal for a health and safety professional who is committed to creating and maintaining a secure work environment across all logistics and freight activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions. Organize and deliver safety training sessions and awareness programs for employees. Maintain up-to-date documentation of safety procedures, audits, and compliance records. Liaise with government agencies, contractors, and internal departments on all HSE matters. Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is properly used and maintained. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or transportation sectors. Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualifications. In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and health and safety regulations. Strong observational, analytical, and reporting skills. Excellent communication and training abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and HSE management systems.
