Implement and oversee safety protocols and procedures on construction or project sites.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Develop and maintain safety programs and training sessions for project teams.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
Investigate accidents or incidents, compile reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Work closely with project managers and other teams to promote a safety-first culture.
Monitor and enforce the proper use of protective equipment and safety gear.
Assist with the preparation of safety documentation for project permits and approvals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a safety role, preferably in construction, engineering, or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety is preferred.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
