-Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.

-Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation, policy & compliance law.

-Support the development of OHS policies and programs

-Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (Installation of gas pipeline, safety norms, etc.)

-Initiate and organise OHS training of employees and executives

-Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity.

-Oversee / audit of Gas installations, maintenance, disposal of substances, etc.

-Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.

-Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle workers' compensation claims

-Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.

-QHSE Inspection and Auditing, and Provision of HSE support to plant and gas pipe installation.

-To keep the company's Health & Safety policy up to date.

-To monitor the implementation of the company's Health & Safety policy, drawing any concerns to the attention of the manager in charge.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

-Degree in Engineering - Mechanical, electrical/ petroleum / Quality Assurance Management. NEBOSH and OHSAS Certificates.

-Certificate in occupational health and safety, safety management.

-At least 1 - 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, gas installation, specifically QA Management experience.

-In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/ISO) and procedures. Auditing skills (internal and external) on Quality systems.

-Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.

-Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety, and Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics

-Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.

-Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics, & Diligent with great attention to detail

UAE Driving Licences - added advantage /preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
