HSE Officer / Logistics
Duties & Responsibilities : - Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures. Coordinates the safety and security programs to promote and ensure a safe working environment Evaluates the effectiveness of safety and security programs. Review current safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules. Performs other related duties as assigned Preparing ISO recertification Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations/ Ensuring premises assets and communications are used effectively/utilizing logistics IT to optimize shipping and transport procedures/Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g truck drivers) according to availabilities and recruitments. Plan and track the shipment of final products according availabilities and requirements An experience for preparing JAFZA Material Gate Pass. Experience in Trakhees, Dubai Municipality and JAFZA related works. Required Skills/Abilities Excellent management and supervisory skills Extensive knowledge of security protocols and emergency preparedness Extensive knowledge of company safety policies and applicable occupational safety and health Administration (OSHA) standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to conduct training Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft office suite or similar software Education and Experience Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Law Enforcement or Business Management required. Bachelors degree preferred At least two years of safety and/or security experience required. Advanced training or certification in safety and security preferred. Proven experience as logistics coordinator Experience in customer service will be appreciated
