Hse Officer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs at the construction site
Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe practices
Ensure compliance with local HSE laws, regulations, and company standards
Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training to workers and subcontractors
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions
Monitor use of PPE and ensure proper safety signage is in place
Coordinate emergency response plans and drills
Maintain HSE records, permits, risk assessments, and safety documentation
Liaise with project management, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities as required
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum
1 year
experience as an HSE Officer in construction projects in GCC but preferably in Qatar Valid HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent) Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and risk assessment Good communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and enforce safety compliance on site Proficient in report writing and documentationJob Type: Full-time

Experience:
Gulf Exprerience in HSE: 1 year (Required) * HSE Officer: 1 year (Required)
