NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification or equivalent is preferred.
5 years of relevant HSE experience in civil construction.
Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to work under pressure and influence safe behavior at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and follow up on corrective and preventive measures.
Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to employees, contractors, and site staff.
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, training, and audits.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Promote a strong safety culture and environmental awareness across the organization.
Support emergency response planning and conduct regular drills.
Monitor waste management, pollution control, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
