The HSE Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe workplace. This role involves monitoring operations, conducting inspections, providing training, and implementing safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Organize and deliver safety training sessions for employees.
Maintain HSE records and prepare reports for management.
Promote a strong safety culture across the workplace.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
