Job Description

We are currently seeking a

qualified and proactive HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Officer

to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate must have a

valid Qatar ID (QID)

and be able to provide a

transferable NOC

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HSE strategies and policies

across all operational sites, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance at all levels.

Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

and comprehensive HSE Plans tailored to each facility's operational needs.

Monitor day-to-day health and safety performance

, identify potential risks, and implement preventive measures to minimize hazards.

Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments

to evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities and recommend necessary improvements.

Ensure full compliance

with national safety laws, ISO standards (such as ISO 45001), OSHA regulations, and other industry-specific guidelines.

Deliver regular training sessions and safety awareness programs

for employees and contractors, covering workplace safety, emergency procedures, and best practices.

Lead emergency response drills

and coordinate evacuation plans, first aid readiness, and fire safety protocols.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses

, analyze root causes, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive action plans.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

, facility managers, and contractors to ensure that all operations are aligned with HSE objectives.

Requirements:

Minimum

3-5 years of hands-on experience

in occupational health and safety, preferably in

facilities management with a focus on high-rise residential and commercial buildings

. In-depth knowledge of

OSHA regulations

,

ISO standards

, and industry best practices in environmental health and safety. Professional certifications such as

NEBOSH IGC

,

IOSH Managing Safely

, or equivalent are highly desirable. Excellent

interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills

, with the ability to influence safe behavior at all organizational levels. Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail. Must possess a

valid QID

and

transferable NOC

in Qatar. Ability to join

immediately

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in

Mechanical Engineering

or a related technical field.
