(experience in Gulf preferred BUT others also will be considered)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all safety, health, and environmental policies and regulations are implemented and maintained across the workplace. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to promoting a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Policy and Procedure Development:

Create, update, and implement safety policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Incident Investigation:

Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.

Training and Education:

Develop and conduct safety training sessions for employees, new hires, and contractors on emergency response, safe practices, and compliance requirements.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure adherence to all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws. Prepare and submit regular reports on HSE performance to management.

Emergency Preparedness:

Plan, organize, and lead emergency drills (e.g., fire and evacuation drills) to ensure workplace readiness.

Environmental Management:

Oversee waste disposal processes, energy conservation efforts, and environmental compliance initiatives.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety audits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience as an HSE Officer or similar role. Strong knowledge of HSE laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent (preferred).
