HSE Officer - ADNOC LNG
Job Title: HSE Officer (ADNOC LNG Operations)
Sector: Oil & Gas (LNG Operations & Maintenance)
Project/Location: ADNOC LNG Facilities
Objective:
To provide dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) support and oversight for the ADNOC LNG operational assets. The officer will ensure that all activities are conducted in full compliance with ADNOC LNG's HSE standards, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on process safety, asset integrity, and operational risk management.
Key Responsibilities:

• HSE Compliance & Monitoring: Implement and monitor adherence to the ADNOC LNG HSE Management System (HSE-MS), COPs, and standard procedures.
• Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct daily site inspections, audits, and tours of operational areas (plant, utilities, jetties) to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts. Track corrective actions to closure.
• Permit-to-Work (PTW) Support: Review and endorse PTW for high-risk activities, ensuring all controls are in place (e.g., Isolation, Gas Testing, Confined Space Entry).
• Incident Investigation: Participate in the investigation of incidents, near-misses, and hazardous situations to determine root causes and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
• Risk Assessment: Facilitate and participate in risk assessments, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA), HAZID, and HAZOP close-out monitoring.
• Emergency Preparedness: Support emergency response drills and act as a member of the emergency response team as required.
• HSE Meetings & Training: Attend and contribute to HSE meetings (e.g., toolbox talks, pre-start meetings). Deliver HSE inductions and awareness training to employees and contractors.
• Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly HSE performance reports for site management.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with operations, maintenance, and contractor personnel to promote a proactive HSE culture.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related scientific field.
• Certification: NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is mandatory. IOSH Managing Safely or similar is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of direct HSE experience in oil & gas operations, preferably within an LNG facility or a major gas processing plant.
• ADNOC Experience: ADNOC approval and relevant ADNOC certifications (e.g., ADNOC H2S, ADNOC AIM, ADNOC PSO) are highly preferred.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of process safety management, mechanical integrity, and safe work practices in a hydrocarbon environment.
