Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced

HSE Officer

to join our team for a high-rise construction project in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have strong exposure to safety management in high-rise building projects, hands-on experience with main contractors, and must possess a valid

SARS card

issued by Dubai Municipality. The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continually improving the project's HSE management systems, ensuring full compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and enforce the HSE policies, procedures, and regulations on site, with a focus on high-rise building construction activities. Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure preventive and corrective actions are taken promptly. Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, Dubai Municipality regulations, and other local authority HSE requirements. Lead incident/accident investigations and maintain proper records of findings, root causes, and corrective actions. Deliver toolbox talks, induction programs, and HSE training to all site workers and staff. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe working procedures by all site personnel. Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure alignment with main contractor HSE standards. Maintain detailed documentation including HSE reports, risk assessments, method statements, and safety audits. Liaise with client HSE representatives, consultants, and statutory authorities as required. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements in safety management.

Requirements:

Minimum 5-7 years of relevant HSE experience

in the UAE, specifically in

high-rise building projects.

Proven track record working with

main contracting companies

. Possession of a

valid SARS card

(Dubai Municipality Safety and Risk Specialist Certificate) is

mandatory

. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety (preferred). Certified in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, DM regulations, and international safety standards (ISO 45001, etc.). Excellent communication, leadership, and report-writing skills. Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Capable of mentoring junior safety officers and promoting a proactive safety culture. Familiarity with lifting operations, scaffolding safety, work at height, confined space, and hot work permit systems.

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
