Job Title: HSE Officer

Full-Time (Short-term contract - approximately 10 months)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements across construction and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and project HSE plans.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor the approved Project HSE Plan on site.

Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.

Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authority requirements (ADM, DMT, OSHAD, ADQCC, etc.).

Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on close-out.

Investigate incidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports.

Review method statements, risk assessments, and permits to work.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams on HSE matters.

Maintain HSE records, registers, and monthly reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Safety, or related field.

NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory).

Minimum 3-5 years of HSE experience in construction projects (UAE experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and best practices.

Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and proactively on site.
