Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and safety-focused HSE Officer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements on project sites in compliance with UAE laws and company policies.

Job Summary:

The HSE Officer will be responsible for daily HSE supervision on-site, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved HSE plans and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site safety rules.

Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.

Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and project safety requirements.

Assist in risk assessments, method statements, and HSE plans.

Report, investigate, and follow up on incidents, accidents, and near misses.

Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions.

Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices.

Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and supervisors on HSE matters.

Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of total HSE experience.

At least 1 year of experience in the UAE in an HSE Officer role.

Good knowledge of UAE HSE laws and construction safety standards.

NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is mandatory.

Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills.

Ability to work on-site and under pressure.

Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.

Having previous experience working in Abu Dhabi especially for governmental projects.

Valid UAE driving license is required.
