Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
HSE Officer
to support site safety activities and ensure compliance with HSE standards for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have10+ years of experience
working in construction or operational environments within the oil & gas industry.Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures. Conduct safety inspections, audits, and walkdowns to identify hazards. Support implementation of risk assessments, job safety analyses, and PTW systems. Participate in toolbox talks and conduct safety awareness sessions for workers. Report unsafe conditions and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions. Assist in incident/near-miss reporting and investigations. Ensure proper use of PPE and promote safe work practices across the site. Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and the HSE team for safe execution of work. Maintain HSE documentation, records, and daily reports.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of HSE experience
in the oil & gas sector. Strong knowledge of site safety practices, PTW systems, and risk assessments. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certifications preferred. Good communication and observation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment with multicultural teams.#LI-SS1
