Job Description
HSE Officer - Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures
in compliance with UAE laws, OSHAD, and relevant regulatory requirements. Conductrisk assessments, hazard identification, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
for transport, loading/unloading, vehicle maintenance, and yard operations. Ensuresafe operation of fleet vehicles
, workshops, and transport activities, including driver safety compliance. Carry outregular site inspections and safety audits
; report findings and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Investigateaccidents, incidents, near misses
, and unsafe acts; prepare detailed incident reports and root-cause analysis. ConductHSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training
for drivers, staff, and subcontractors. Ensure proper use and availability ofPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)
and enforce safety rules. Maintain and updateHSE documentation, records, permits, MSDS, and safety reports
. Coordinate with management topromote a strong safety culture
and continuous HSE improvement. Monitorenvironmental aspects
such as waste management, spill prevention, and pollution control. Liaise withgovernment authorities, clients, and auditors
during inspections and compliance audits. Ensureemergency preparedness
, including fire safety, first aid arrangements, and evacuation procedures. Stop unsafe work practices and take immediate action to prevent injuries, property damage, or environmental harm.Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
NEBOSH IGC certification
(mandatory)0-2 years of HSE experience
, preferably in transport or logistics industryValid UAE driving license
(preferred) Must becurrently based in the UAE
Good knowledge ofUAE HSE regulations and standards
Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and proactively promote a safe working environmentJob Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
