Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, proactive, and detail-oriented HSE Officer to join our rapidly growing landscaping company in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in safeguarding our workforce and fostering a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility across all our projects.
About the Role:
As an HSE Officer, you will be responsible for:
Conducting thorough risk assessments for all landscaping activities and projects. Developing, implementing, and continuously improving safety protocols and procedures tailored to the landscaping industry. Delivering effective and engaging HSE training sessions to employees. Monitoring work sites to ensure compliance with relevant UAE and Abu Dhabi HSE regulations. Investigating incidents and accidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. Maintaining accurate, comprehensive HSE records and documentation. Staying updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes related to HSE.
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid UAE visa and work permit. Recognized qualification in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or related fields (e.g., NEBOSH). Minimum 2 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in the landscaping or construction sector. Strong understanding of UAE HSE laws, standards, and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams. Genuine commitment to ensuring workplace safety and preventing incidents. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
