Job Description

:



1. Conduct risk assessment and develop preventative measures.

2. Regular inspection of the workplace for unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts and make plans for corrective actions.

3. Stop any unsafe acts or activities that may seem dangerous or unsafe.

4. Record and investigate incidents to determine root causes and assist management with workmen's compensation claims.

5. Coordinate and assist with third-party inspections, certifications, and training.

6. Prepare updated HSE reports weekly and monthly for management submissions.

7. Provide regular training on staff and workers for safe practices.

8. Establish and develop safety standards and policies to ensure they are followed by all workers.

9. Maintain HSE records for client audits and local regulatory inspections.

10. Inspection of equipment and processes to ensure adherence to safety standards.

11. Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards.

Requirements and skills:



Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering.

Proven experience as

safety officer



Certificate in occupational health and safety

Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE management

Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and standards.

Experience working with major contractors or on large-scale infrastructure/building projects.
