Develop, implement, and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local laws and regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for staff and subcontractors.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare detailed reports, and recommend improvements.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, consultants, and clients on all HSE matters.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE, firefighting equipment, and safety systems.
Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports for management and client review.
Support emergency response planning and drills.
Promote a culture of safety awareness across all project sites.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification (preferred).
Minimum 2 years' experience in construction, engineering, or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of UAE (or relevant country) health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
