The HSE Officer will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental performance on project sites. The role involves promoting a proactive safety culture, conducting inspections, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring full compliance with UAE regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE regulations and company policies across all worksites.
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
Lead incident investigations and prepare reports with corrective actions.
Organize and deliver safety awareness sessions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
Ensure readiness for emergency situations and coordinate first aid/response as needed.
Liaise with local authorities and ensure compliance with OSHAD and other UAE HSE standards.
Maintain documentation and records of safety performance and incidents.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is mandatory.
Additional certifications in Fire Safety, Scaffolding Inspection, and First Aid preferred.
Registration as a QUDORAT-approved OSH Practitioner is an advantage.
