Job Summary:

We are seeking qualified and experienced

Safety Officers

with Experience in

TAQA

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all safety standards, regulations, and procedures are adhered to at all times across the site. You will play a critical role in risk prevention, safety training, and fostering a strong safety culture in alignment with TAQA's HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure implementation of HSE policies and procedures in accordance with TAQA guidelines and local regulatory standards. Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits to identify and rectify potential hazards. Participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Permit to Work (PTW) systems. Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to site personnel. Monitor compliance with PPE usage and other safety practices. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions. Maintain documentation and records as per TAQA's HSE Management System. Coordinate with TAQA representatives during safety meetings, inspections, and audits. Promote a proactive safety culture among the workforce and subcontractors. Assist in emergency response planning and drills.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer . Recognized HSE certifications such asNEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessments, and root cause analysis. Effective communication and report-writing skills. Ability to work under pressure in remote or high-risk environments.
