Ensure compliance with all local, national, and company HSE regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.
Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to workers and subcontractors.
Investigate accidents and incidents, reporting findings and corrective actions.
Maintain safety documentation, including reports, inspection records, and permits.
Monitor and report on HSE performance to project and senior management.
Promote a strong safety culture across the site.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certifications (any of the following or equivalent):
NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
IOSH Managing Safely
OSHA Certification (30-Hour Construction)
First Aid/CPR certified (optional but preferred)
Experience:
3-5 years of HSE experience in construction or related industry.
Familiarity with construction safety regulations and practices.
