Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced
HSE Officer
to join our team and ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices across our operations. The ideal candidate will hold a
NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
, possess a
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (attested by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
, and have solid experience in implementing safety procedures, conducting training, and ensuring regulatory compliance on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure safety compliance.
Investigate incidents/accidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Conduct and coordinate safety training programs including but not limited to: First Aid ,Fire Fighting, Work at Height and Confined Space Entry
Maintain up-to-date documentation and records of inspections, incidents, and training.
Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce proper usage.
Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
Foster a culture of proactive safety among employees, contractors, and visitors.
Ensure emergency preparedness plans are in place and regularly reviewed/tested.
Qualifications & Requirements:
NEBOSH IGC Certification
is mandatory.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
, attested by the
UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs
.
Valid certifications in
First Aid, Fire Fighting, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry
, or similar safety trainings.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or oil & gas industry.
Good knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
Proficient in computer applications
including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HSE-related software.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
