: HSE Officer (3PL & Plastic Manufacturing Division) Position Title: HSE Officer
Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Reporting To: General Manager (MDs Office) Location: JAFZA, DUBAI, UAE

Role Purpose
To develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental systems, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability across the group's logistics and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
i? Implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with national regulations and group standards.
i? Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits across warehouses, transport operations, and manufacturing facilities.
i? Drive awareness, training, and behavioral safety programs among staff and contractors.
i? Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
i? Ensure environmental management in areas like waste disposal, emissions, energy, and plastic usage/recycling.
i? Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe equipment and facility conditions.
i? Prepare HSE reports and maintain documentation for audits and certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience
i? Education: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health & Safety.
i? Certifications: NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred.
i? Experience:
o 3-5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in 3PL, logistics, or plastic manufacturing industries.
o Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and EMS systems.
i? Skills Required:
o Strong knowledge of industrial safety, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
o Excellent communication and training skills.
o Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting tools.
o Analytical mindset with attention to detail and compliance orientation.
