Job Description
Responsible for ensuring the implementation and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental policies across all operations of PMES. Lead in risk assessment, safety audits, and compliance with regulations such as ISO standards, while promoting a safety culture and managing HSE training programs. The role involves coordinating with other departments and reporting on HSE performance, ensuring safety and environmental standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
SPAN OF CONTROL:
Oversee the entire HSE function, managing the implementation and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental policies across the company's operations.
Responsible for leading and supervising the HSE team, which may include HSE Lead, Engineers, officers and Nurses at different project sites or locations.Involves coordinating HSE activities with other departments, ensuring that safety and environmental standards are integrated into all project phases.
Manage the development and execution of risk assessments, safety audits, and compliance strategies to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
While they don't directly supervise every individual, they ensure that safety standards are adhered to across all levels of the organization, from senior management to operational teams.
The position also includes liaising with external regulatory bodies, clients, and contractors to ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
Report to the Managing Director, providing regular updates on HSE performance, incidents, and improvements across the organization.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and fostering a culture where safety is prioritized at all levels of operation.
Bachelor's degree in safety management, Environmental Science, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Nebosh and Level 6/7 qualifications in HSE are often required for the role.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
